Description
Yuhua Cloud Silk – Limited-Production Bud Yellow Tea from YunnanYuhua Cloud Silk is a delicate and very rare yellow tea that shows how elegant this category can be when grown on high-mountain terroir and crafted with precision. It is produced in the mist-veiled highlands of Yunnan Province, among forested peaks fed by mineral-rich mountain springs, and only in extremely limited quantities. Outside China, yellow tea remains little known. It is often described as a subtler relative of green tea, with a rounder body, deeper sweetness and a signature slow-fire processing that softens grassy edges and builds aromatic complexity. Yuhua Cloud Silk is a “tippy” yellow tea composed almost entirely of young, downy buds, hand-harvested in early spring at their most tender. The dry leaf shows downy, tippy buds. The aroma is comforting and complex, and the flavor opens with sweet steamed corn followed by warm honey-orchid, with a whisper of cooling mint as the leaves open. The texture is silky, smooth and flowing. Naturally high in L-theanine, it is associated with calm, focused energy, suiting meditation, creative work and quiet moments. Brewed in a clear glass or gaiwan, the buds are visible as they move, and the leaves provide several gentle infusions. Product Profile
