Koshun Sencha Oolong

Koshun Sencha is a single-origin green tea from Shizuoka prefecture in Japan. It is unique as it has an almost “oolong tea” like floral and herbal notes, unlike a traditional Japanese Sencha.

Koshun Sencha is a delightful hand-crafted tea made with much attention and care by passionate tea craftsmen. Once picked, the leaves are lightly oxidized (which brings out an oolong note) and then delicately steamed before being dried. It is a high-class and special sencha that is umami-rich, sweet, with a fresh “herbs” character and has a slightly astringent finish. Multiple infusions allow for full exploration of the tea, and draw out further astringent notes.
